Latin music Mega-Star Bad Bunny expressed outrage while witnessing the immigration and customs operations (ICE) in Puerto Rico on Tuesday.
In a clip shared in his Instagram history, the artist recorded several vehicles of application of the law stopped by the road, while the officers seem to interrogate several unidentified individuals.
Bunny could be heard by insulting the ice sheets on the recording in Spanish.
“Look, those maternal, they are in these cars, RAV-4. They are here in Pontezuela,” he said in Spanish, mentioning ice working in Avenida Pontezuela in Carolina, a city east of the capital of Puerto Rico, San Juan.
“Sons of B … instead of leaving people alone and working,” he added.
ICE has increased operations in the territory of the United States since the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
The Spanish newspaper El País reported on June 1 that 445 people have been detained on the island since January 26.
“The vast majority are men, and almost 72% of the detainees are Dominican citizens, followed by Haitians, Venezuelan and Mexicans,” he said.
The report described the city as “under siege” thanks to the fools of the federal government.
The governor of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González-Colón, a Republican who supported Trump in the 2024 election, said that he would not be used in ice operations, not even those made in churches and hospitals.
González-Colón stated that “it cannot be allowed” to risk losing federal funds when interrupting deportation operations.
The issue of illegal immigration application has reached a fever in the United States in recent weeks. Protests against the repression of Trump immigration became violent in Los Angeles last week, with the President who called the National Guard and several hundreds of North -American Marines to suppose chaos.
The artist, whose actual name is Benito Antonio Martínez Occasio, is the last to join the growing choir of celebrities by deciphering Trump’s immigration agenda.
Kim Kardashian, whose sister Kendall Jenner left Badny in 2023, made waves on social media earlier this month denouncing Los Angeles ice raids as “inhumanes”.
“When we are told that the ice exists to keep our country safe and eliminate violent criminals, great. But when we attend innocent and workers who are pulled out of their families in inhuman ways, we must talk. We must do what is right,” he wrote in an Instagram story.
The actress “Scream”, Jenna Ortega, cheerfully encouraged her 37.2 million Instagram followers to “angry” for ice operations in an Instagram story last weekend.
“The world is crying everywhere. The people of Los Angeles are being started from their daily lives and love … those who have built so tirelessly over the years, just like you … Innocent civilians in Iran are trapped in the middle of war. The Palestinian shouts are still buried every day [sic] Media. My thoughts are heavy, my heart goes on. “
She added: “Listen to each other and love each other, but you are also angry. Educate -the best you can. To say that this is not concerned, or that it is not your problem, it is a privilege under abuse.”
