A man who lived as a woman for years believe that those who fight with their gender need to address the underlying problems that promote them to question their identity so that they would “embrace” who God made them.

Bauwens, a former trauma therapist and researcher, claims that a large number of people who experience gender confusion were also abused, neglected, or other adverse experiences in their childhood.

Heyer’s story of the gender confusion began at a young age with family members who abused him.

“My grandmother was secretly dressed and she stated. “I have worked with thousands of people for the past twenty years. Heyer credits God to “redeem and restore his life”, as well as a few Christian counselors who helped him to put himself sober, approach his gender problems and give his life.
